Launching in Bristol and South Glos: The IRIS+ Programme for Men and Children
The University of Bristol, in collaboration with Next Link and IRISi, is expanding the IRIS Programme to support men, children, and young people affected by domestic violence. This expansion—IRIS+—aims to enhance the support GPs can offer to the whole family.
Bristol and South Glos is one of three sites participating in a cluster-randomised controlled trial to assess the effectiveness of IRIS+. The study will compare outcomes in IRIS+ practices with those in standard IRIS practices. Researchers at the University of Bristol will evaluate whether IRIS+ is both effective and cost-effective for men, young people, and children, and whether it can be successfully implemented on a larger scale.
This spring, we are actively recruiting GP practices in Bristol and South Glos to take part. If your practice is interested, please get in touch.
